How do we receive text messages on our business (landline) phone line?
Using our user-friendly and mobile-optimized web portal, you can send and receive text messages. Choose to receive text messages in your email or forward them to your cell phone number and receive them on your phone.
Using Zebyl, can we receive text messages on an iPad or other tablet at our retail establishment?
Absolutely. Our messaging portal is web-based. You can login to the portal via your web browser using any device, including iPads and other tablets.
Does Zebyl support attachments such as photos and videos?
Our SMS-enabled numbers support MMS, so you’re able to send and receive images and video messages.
Is it possible to have more than one person respond to incoming text messages?
Yes. Our portal allows you to add more than one login (agent) to answer incoming text messages. Each agent has their own login information. They can each send and receive messages in their portal.
Can we have more than one SMS-enabled number?
Yes. You can enable any quantity of SMS numbers under your plan. Please refer to our pricing page for more information about activating multiple SMS numbers under the same plan.
Is there a limit to the number of text messages we can send and receive?
Please check the available plans on our website to choose the best one for you. Each plan includes a package of incoming and outgoing text messages. If you use more messages than the quantity included in the plan, you’ll still be able to send and receive messages for an overage fee. Please refer to our pricing page for more information.
Can we obtain a new phone number and use it to receive text messages?
Yes. You can easily order a new phone number with the area code of your choice and start receiving text messages through your web portal. To order a new SMS number, simply contact support@zebyl.com.
Can we schedule automatic responses to incoming text messages?
You certainly can. The web portal allows you to schedule automatic responses to incoming text messages.
Can we receive text messages on our old business phone number?
Zebyl gives you the ability to use text messaging on most phone numbers. Please email support@zebyl.com and provide the phone number, and we should be able to have it up and running for text messaging on the same business day.
